About Me
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience as both an actor and a teacher. I graduated from Northwestern University's prestigious Theatre program, worked on the Chicago stage, in Hollywood on television and in indie films, and doing commercial work and improv comedy in NYC.
Acting
I've acted in everything from Shakespeare to bank commercials, from musicals to improv comedy. On television, I've acted with Emmy-winner Hugh Laurie and Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey.
Teaching
Currently a professor at Muhlenberg College, former dialect coach for Virginia Repertory Theatre, and a LESSAC-CERTIFIED Voice Trainer, I got my MFA in Acting from University of Virginia. I have taught acting, voice, and accents on both coasts to people aged 5 to 65 at universities and private studios. And YES! I also do private coaching-- I can help you prepare for that audition, nail that accent, or improve the quality and expressiveness of your voice!!!
